Integrating Envoice with Scoro - a comprehensive Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool - streamlines both your financial workflows and your project management. This seamless connection ensures that receipts, bills, and expenses are automatically extracted and accurately synced directly to your Scoro projects. By automating this process, you eliminate manual data entry, keep your project budgets up to date in real time, and minimize errors.
Here is how to set up and configure your Scoro integration.
Phase 1: Obtain Your Scoro API Credentials
Pro Tip: Keep your Envoice and Scoro accounts open in separate browser tabs so you can easily copy and paste your credentials between them.
- Log in to your Scoro account.
- Navigate to Settings > Site Settings > Integrations > Scoro API.
- Toggle the switch to Enable the Scoro API.
- Keep this page open. You will need to copy the following three values to use in Envoice:
- Company base URL
- API Key
- Company Account ID for Entity (Note: You will paste this into the "Company Account ID" field in Envoice).
Phase 2: Connect Scoro to Envoice
- Log in to your Envoice account.
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
- Locate and select the Scoro integration.
- In the Connect Now window, paste the Company Base URL, API Key, and the Company Account ID that you copied from Scoro.
- Click Activate. Envoice will immediately connect and initiate the first data sync from your Scoro account.
Phase 3: Configure Your Integration Settings
Once connected, you can customize exactly how data flows between Envoice and Scoro to match your preferred workflow.
Recording required
Turn this toggle ON to add a safeguard to your workflow. Envoice will prevent you from publishing a document to Scoro unless finance accounts and tax rates have been properly assigned to the line items.
Publish Expense Reports as
By default, expense reports are published to Scoro as Expenses. Use the dropdown to publish them as Bills instead.
Automatic publishing
Turn this ON to push documents to Scoro immediately after processing in Envoice is complete.
Synchronization Rules
Upon initial activation, Envoice will automatically pull your accounting settings, suppliers and Projects from Scoro.
- Automatic Synchronization: Select Auto Sync to keep your data perfectly aligned. Envoice will automatically sync any changes made in your Scoro settings once a day.
-
Manual Synchronization: If Auto Sync is disabled, or if you need to pull an urgent update (like a newly created project) from Scoro immediately, you can force a manual sync:
- In Envoice, navigate to Settings > Bookkeeping.
- Select the specific section of your bookkeeping settings you want to update.
- Click Sync.
