When capturing receipts with the Envoice smartphone app, you have the option to classify the document as either a bill (purchase invoice) or a receipt. Bills are sent directly to the accountant’s workspace for processing. Receipts, however, are stored under Expenses > Receipts and are not immediately visible to the accountant. These receipts await further action from you, the user. You can choose to create an Expense or Travel Expense report from these receipts or convert them directly to Purchase Invoices for processing.

Steps to Convert a Receipt to a Purchase Invoice

Log In to Your Envoice Account
- Open your desktop browser and log in to your Envoice account.

Navigate to My Expenses
- Go to the Reports section.
- Click on My Expenses.

Select the Receipts
- In the My Expenses section, locate and select the receipts you want to convert.

Convert to Purchase Invoice
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click on the "Change to Purchase Invoice" button.
